iVue 80 is the new full-featured Spectral Domain Widefield OCT, front and rear half. Upgrading the established iVue installed in 100 clinics and hospitals, the iVue 80 has 80,000 A-Scans per second, allowing high-speed OCT downloads.
iVue 80 is the only OCT that is portable. Its program is so simple that it makes it most suitable for unfamiliar users while maintaining various tools, where it will satisfy even the most demanding.
iVue80 The complete retinal, optic disc, and cornea imaging solution
The iVue80 OCT is the newest innovation from the creators of OCT technology. At 80,000 A-scans per second, it is 3x faster than the original iVue for improved efficiency and enhanced image quality. Scan acquisition has been simplified with real-time en-face imaging displaying a 12×9 mm view of the retina during acquisition to assist the operator in scanning the desired location and new reports with a wider field of view for enhanced capabilities.
It is a powerful clinical tool that transforms how you assess the retina, optic disc, and cornea. Quantify the thickness of the retina, nerve fiber layer, ganglion cell complex (GCC), and cornea. Track change and predict RNFL and GCC thickness trends and precisely measure angles to aid in disease diagnosis.
The iVue80 system delivers many Optovue exclusives such as ganglion cell complex (GCC) analysis with focal loss volume (FLV%) and global loss volume (GLV%) metrics, the iWellnessExam® and Vault Mapping for specialty lens fitting.

The iVue80 has excellent glaucoma monitoring, with the ability to show follow-up, thanks to the ganglion thickness measurement (GCC) and reliable RNFL measurements.
Glaucoma
Disc Cube 3D:
Cube of 6 x 6 mm composed of 201 horizontal scans.
GCC – Analysis of the ganglion cell complex:
The GCC card makes it possible to identify the loss of ganglion cells in glaucoma. The FLV index (Focal Loss Volume) is the best prognostic factor in glaucoma.
RNFL Analysis:
Nerve fiber thickness mapping allows
visualization and quantification of fiber loss.
A complete report:
The report provided by the iVue-80 allows a comparison between the two eyes, a comparison between two visits, and an analysis of progression over time for the ganglion cells and peripapillary fibers.
The unique indicators of universal ganglion reduction (GLV) and focal ganglion reduction (FLV) allow the treating ophthalmologist to monitor immediately and with certainty the patient’s progress. The extensive database of normal and abnormal eyes gives a sense of security.
With a quick shot, the iVue80 has a direct view of the retinal thickness map in a 7 × 7 mm field, giving a direct picture of the patient’s eye health.
Retina
Real-time In-Face Image:
The iVue-80 now offers a real-time 12 x 9 mm In-Face image that allows the operator to position the scan on the area of interest correctly.
3D Retina Cube:
The new 7 x 7 mm cube offers a clear and deep visualization thanks to the 201 horizontal scans that compose it.
Radial Line:
The new 12mm Radial Line scan allows rapid screening without compromising on image quality.
Retina Map :
It allows to visualize an area of 9 x 5 mm and obtain an ETDRS mapping compared to the normative database to identify thinned areas and thicker areas of the retina quickly.
With an extensive database and follow-up exams, the usability and practicality of the iVue80 are unquestionable.
It also has a choice of 6 12mm radial shots as OCT ocher, which can be placed anywhere on the bottom you wish, and 3D OCT 7 απεικόνιση 7 mm imaging of the retina.
The capabilities of the iVue80 in the anterior hemisphere are excellent, as it has detailed reports, which contain a corneal thickness map and an epithelial map. These maps have an extensive patient base for direct comparison with normal and follow-up visits.
Anterior segment
Pachymetry and epithelial mapping:
Allows to visualize and quantify the thicknesses of the epithelium, the stroma, and the total thickness of the cornea. The altered areas found in dry eye, keratoconus, and before refractive surgery are easily highlighted.
The progress report allows you to visualize the changes from one exam to another.
Clearance mapping under the lens (option):
Allows visualization and quantification of the lacrimal reservoir between the scleral lens and the cornea.
Scan Angle:
Allows to visualize the angle structure with a quick and non-contact examination and quantify its closure with simple tools.
It also has angle measurement and the Vault Mapping function, which allows the quantitative evaluation of the application of hard contact lenses.
